Sophie has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across a range of settings including NGOs, university psychology clinic, and child development services.

Sophie connects with clients using a blended therapeutic approach that supports the whole person without pathologising. Sophie sees it as a privilege in being able to help individuals explore and express vulnerability in a safe space. She meets clients with warmth, gentleness, and compassion, and understands clients are the expert in their own life. Sophie seeks to collaborate with clients to foster their growth and go from surviving to thriving.

Working with Child, Adolescent and their Family

Sophie is passionate about child development and working in the preventative and early intervention space, supporting children, adolescents, and parents to achieve their goals. She recognises the importance of working with the family and wider system and values collaborative practice.

Working with Adult Clients

Sophie also has an interest in supporting adult clients with developmental trauma. Underlying all her work she incorporates attachment-based and trauma-informed practices. She has a special interest in supporting clients from the LGBTIQA+ community and clients with disability.
